The surrounding grounds bring together colonial architecture, mature greenery and open outdoor spaces - creating an atmosphere that feels removed from the city without actually being far from it.

Ida’s is the perfect escape for meaningful conversations with your colleagues, friends and loved ones where the art of hosting comes alive. Our three distinct spaces — the Event Gallery, Courtyard and Floral Studio allow flexibility for our event to unfold naturally throughout the day. We know that every event has its own rhythm and pulse. Some prefer to begin with coffee and conversation in our floral studio, others with cocktails in our alfresco courtyard during the golden hour. Others call for a big reveal on 2026 accomplishments utilising our AV set-up and equipment within our event gallery. Most may choose to have a seated dinner or standing reception within that space instead.

We recommend that you start as early as September because popular dates do go quickly!
